The village is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in India, with an entire Group of Monuments: temples, ruins, history, stunning landscapes, monkeys, good people, good food; Yes, Hampi is really a special place and everyone is “Happy in Hampi“.

Happy Hampi is therefore a perfect and beautiful site to spend a weekend out of the big Indian metropolis… a backpacker’s paradise, the same way a pilgrim’s delight. You’d better rent a scooter and start exploring !

How to get to Hampi?
Hampi is a village in the state of Karnataka, in the South of India. It is located next to Hospet, where the bus and the train stop. You can reach Hampi from Mumbai, from Goa or from Bangalore by bus (usually a night sleeping bus). There’s no airport close by.
