Hampi: India’s Surprise and Delight

Happy Hampi is therefore a perfect and beautiful site to spend a weekend out of the big Indian metropolis… a backpacker’s paradise, the same way a pilgrim’s delight. You’d better rent a scooter and start exploring !

Here is my photo journey to Hampi, the place where, at every turn, there is a surprise. Every monument hides more than what they reveal.

How to get to Hampi?

Hampi is a village in the state of Karnataka, in the South of India. It is located next to Hospet, where the bus and the train stop. You can reach Hampi from Mumbai, from Goa or from Bangalore by bus (usually a night sleeping bus). There’s no airport close by.

For any information, you can visit the official website of Hampi.
