The festival of the dead in Mexico! When we traveled to Mexico in November 2019, we knew we would be attending one of the country’s most important events: El Día de los muertos. Celebrated around November 1, the Day of the Dead honors loved ones who have passed away. Far from being a gloomy time, Mexicans wish to honor their deceased loved ones in a festive and colorful way. Everywhere flowers are mixed with the heads of the dead, and the cemeteries are transformed into a music festival. The spectacle is so singular that it is the setting for films and its atmosphere attracts crowds from all over the world. I take you to Oaxaca, Mexico, where we discovered how El día de los muertos takes place…

Streets full of bicycles, café terraces full of students, this is the atmosphere I discover when I arrive in Leuven. I have been to Croatia several times and it has always been fantastic. Roadtrip in Croatia are a perfect way to discover the country and to discover each little Adriatic jewel… In September 2017, I did an eight-day roadtrip from South to North. Departing from Dubrovnik, in the south of the country, up to Plitvice National park, we drove more than 700 kilometres along the Dalmatian coast, between sea and natural parks.
Mljet is one of my most beautiful discoveries in Croatia. This “green island” is a huge natural park located in the middle of the Adriatic Sea. The island is not too big but allows you to spend several days immersed in a dream setting: in the middle of nature, crystal clear waters and incredible landscapes!
