Hello, I’m Florence

And I’m the creator of this blog!
I’m a curious adventurer, passionate about travel, photography, and writing, I

My passion for travel has been with me since I was very young. Born in Liège in Belgium, my parents decided at the age of 3 to move to Friuli in northern Italy. So I spent my childhood between the North and the South. Later on, I had trouble finding my identity and I wondered a lot about my origins. This explains why I define myself first and foremost as a European citizen, and why I feel both nowhere and everywhere at home.

At the end of 2015, I shared my adventure in India with my friends and family via a blog. That’s when it all clicked.
A few months later, the Reporter on the road adventure was launched!

Through my stories, I aim to inspire my readers to embark on their own journeys and discover the beauty of the world. I firmly believe in the power of travel to broaden horizons, promote cultural understanding and create unforgettable memories.

Meeting other people, their country, their culture and their history.

Reporter on the Road is much more than just a travel blog. It’s a place for storytelling and exploration, where I share practical advice, my experiences and my favourite discoveries off the beaten track. My aim is to share valuable and engaging content that resonates with travel enthusiasts and encourages them to step out of their comfort zone.

Travelogues, discoveries, reflections and encounters from the four corners of the world.
